Archiving for IBM Lotus Quickr

SNAPPS Inc. teams up with SWING Software to offer the new SnappArchive™ for IBM Lotus Quickr.

Using the SWING PDF Converter as the PDF rendering engine, SnappArchive™ allows customers to preserve their Quickr places by exporting them to industry-standard Adobe Acrobat PDFs. It automatically creates a folder structure on the hard drive resembling Quickr rooms after which it converts Quickr content to PDF files which are finally stored in appropriate folders.

SnappArchive™ provides for several needs frequently faced by Quickr users, such as regular content archiving, sharing Quickr documentation with clients, complying with document retention policies or migrating Quickr content to a file-based repository. In each instance, SnappArchive™ makes for a perfect solution to the end stage of customer’s collaborative document life-cycle.

“The programmatic combination of SWING Software’s PDF Converter and our API tools for Quickr is an elegant and flexible solution for any company running Lotus Quickr.” — Rob Novak

Flexible licensing options allow customers to run SnappArchive™ on-site or use the SaaS alternative; just sending their Quickr places to SNAPPS who performs the export and delivers the client with the final document package. “We have successfully deployed SnappArchive™ for regulatory compliance globally, and have helped migrate content from Quickr to other solutions using the SaaS alternative,” said Rob Novak, SNAPPS President. “The programmatic combination of SWING Software’s PDF Converter and our API tools for Quickr is an elegant and flexible solution for any company running Lotus Quickr.”

For a limited time, SNAPPS will also be conducting a Proof of Concept for each customer by archiving one of their Quickr places at no charge. For more information contact info@snapps.com.
