market leader in the global color printer market, with
representation in 120 countries worldwide.
IntelliGlobe is a Danish CRM Application
specialist with 8 years of CRM experience. IntelliGlobe
offers complete implementation services, including on-site
training, support, and software customization services.
Challenge
"We wanted to develop a suitable, common CRM solution for
four initially independent country organizations: Denmark,
Norway, Sweden and Finland," said Per Olav Rustad,
Regional IS Manager at OKI Systems. "The four sites are more
and more operating as one entity. The capability for
integrating MS Office documents as part of OKI communication
was one of the major requirements."
Solution
For OKI the alternatives were: SAP CRM solution (offered
through the head office and linked to the central ERP
system) and
IntelliGlobe CRM or SuperOffice CRM, which were already
used by one of the operations.
OKI chose IntelliGlobe CRM, based on a total cost/benefit
analysis. The most important factors were: ease of
installation, contact/support from actual vendor, design
flexibility, rapid transition from OKI’s old systems, the
familiar Lotus Notes environment, and an advanced MS Office
integration.
SWING
Integrator is a standard plug-in in IntelliGlobe CRM. It
enables the handling of Office documents and reports with
company standard templates, mail merge and the ability to
convert to PDF. As a result, OKI can now ensure consistency
and accuracy across all business documents.
Results
With the flexibility built in IntelliGlobe CRM, OKI is
able to use the same application template in all 4
operations and at the same time still have its own country
specific CRM solutions. Having to maintain only one software
application across all 4 sites allows OKI to anticipate cost
savings on future upgrades and maintenance.
By using IntelliGlobe CRM with SWING Integrator, OKI
ensures that the process of creating sales letters and mass
mailing to be easy for their users. At the same time, OKI
ensures that all written correspondence with its customers
follows the company guidelines. OKI also appreciates reduced
time and effort accrued from maintaining their standard
templates.
